Maryann Lowery (Six-time Grammy® Award Winner Amy Grant), a beautiful, blind cellist and music teacher at the Milford Conservatory of Music, enjoys her quiet, comfortable life with her friend and widowed neighbor, Oliver (Academy Award® Winner Keith Carradine). When world-famous musician Gregory Pavan (D.W. Moffet, TV's Friday Night Lights) visits the Conservatory to record an upcoming album, he sees undiscovered talent in Maryann, promises fame and convinces her to undergo a risky eye operation.
